We decided to start doing things this way because it forces compromise, prevents the kind of fatigue that some clubs run into where their s stop being active, and forces the leader to actually rally the existing s behind him.

To be blunt, our istrative system is super fucking efficient and it's a big reason we kept growing when other clubs fell off, and why we eclipsed the other ecchi clubs we used to compete with so decisively. I'm very proud of it.

But yeah, the reason our HA history is so long and weird looking compared to other clubs is because they function through direct successors and we elect our HA as a staff democracy with an emphasis on rotating power.

Usually you have to do some minor campaigning, and typically if there's a minority opposition you make a concession or two of shit they wanted to make happen to appease them to form a united front.

I think the last time there was a serious contest was Dekn vs. Ixo after I stepped back the first time, and that was the only time we didn't form a coalition in an election with opposition and the loser of the election quit staff as a result. Other than that it's cordial.

@KinjiKido By election. Basically, you get promoted to through community activity, then every year or so we hold an election to determine which of the s becomes the next head . Usually when the current HA gets tired and wants to step back. It prevents position fatigue so we can be more responsive and proactive and whatever bullshit.

Since activity is almost entirely centered on our Discord server these days, you basically have to be a regular there to get promoted to at this point. You also have to get unanimous from existing s. After that, you have to get elected again. Votes have been staff wide before, but not always. It's up to whoever is stepping back how the election gets carried out.
