It's been 3 years since I last wrote up a review.
Frieren is a slow burner. But hits so, so, good. After watching episode 10 it concludes it. Anime of the Year. I have no doubts. This is the only anime this season that I feel is worth reviewing or taking the time to write up a review about it. Being available on YouTube as well is a big plus. I look forward to every Friday/Saturday for new episodes.
When I'm watching it's like a breath of fresh air, I can smell it and it just feels so refreshing. The music ESPECIALLY the Ending Song ... is a vibe. The animation is quality, and it's just overall a goddamn banger what else can I say? I might be slightly biased.
The environment around Frieren: Beyond Journey's End is beautiful. The beauty of nature, and the character designs. The voice acting is top-notch. It's a colorful show that showcases the beauty of the medieval times.
In of blood, and gore, it checks out as well. A bit of a trigger warning, the way the blood drips, how thick it is, and how it's spread out, OK that sounds wrong when I re-read it. Anyways, the level of detail with the blood, the animation, and the character designs is superb.
I've been keeping up with most of the anime this season. But once again, this is the only show that I felt writing up about how good it is. Taking me off from my 3-year hiatus from reviewing anime. A lot has happened these past years but this is not about me. WATCH FRIEREN.

It's been a while since I've updated my MAL. I've been meaning to create a review for a while now especially with Beastars. I came across this show thinking it was rather weird at first only to come out experiencing one of the best shows of my life.
Beastars for most people including me going in blind necessarily wasn't on our radar to be a hot topic this season I would deem it to be rather comparable to Land of the Lustrous. 3D or furry for most people would be a turn-off so it is rather unfortunate for people to simply on such a ... well done comparative literature that can compete with the best of storytelling and dramatic prose, add in the very catchy addicting unique opening song and ever so subtle ending song. The characters are very well written and one of the best dramatic sequences I have ever had the pleasure to watch.
The characters for me are highly likable especially like the wolf Legoshi, not to exclude all the other characters of course.
Beastars, in a nutshell, is a vast world filled with its share of drama, action, mystery, psychological elements to grip me in and never let go till the end. With its interesting take on society and other important societal and psychological problems. It is a MUST WATCH show and is deemed too important to ignore.

The definition of Code Geass relies solely on the morals and idealistic ideology of people in different views, the show focuses on these conceptions and relies solely on explaining how it is the perfect solution to this complex problem. In some parts the show paces itself unrealistically which makes you question it's approach, in most parts it is defined pretty well, since this show in the first place is not real, the plot relies on the power which of that Geass to change the fate of humanity, which therefore leads to unknown territory. During this phase, trying to understand the show for what it is ... may be the best approach. It is best to keep an open mind and think for yourself it's definitive message.
Whilst for some people this is extraordinarily painful to watch, like-said it is best to keep an open mind when watching this show, personally, I like the way how it goes, for the most part. Leading to a somewhat acceptable conclusion but can and could have been done differently, but in the end decided to go for a ending that showed what an ideology could do, and what could happen if you sticked through with it, learning these things, for me, was a pretty good watch.

Kaguya-sama: Love is War
As much as this show can be as stereotypical an anime can be, it wasn't a surprise to see the show using the same tropes used in the past, in these days finding out a new way to make a love comedy anime interesting is quite hard. So rather than focusing on changing the tropes, other aspects of the anime can be changed to make it alluring towards the viewer, and that's what this anime did.
Rather than focusing on the plot of the story, since hardly there is really no plot, it's focused more on the antics, plotting of ... the characters, to make the other one confess their love. The synergy between these characters is what separates this show towards all other love romantic comedies out there, all the characters are in a way, in correlation to, connected to each other to make out the perfect chemistry. The side characters are there to break the ice between the two tunnel visioned main characters whilst adding a sense of unpredictability between what can happen.
Their problems isn't so special as much as they are quite pointless, stupid and illogical, mostly focusing a lot on the little things that doesn't necessarily move them forward to a better relationship, in this, they conduct such activities into a day to day basis, which leads them into questionable situations they put themselves through, with this style, it wasn't as so much serious but rather more of a casual, funny, watch. Whilst it is casual and funny, the anime still manages to be able to transfer into a comedic situation into a serious situation in a way that looked natural, therefore opened up a new path for more in-depth development towards the characters and the problem that they face.
The voice actors have played a big role in bringing out the character's sense of personality, as well as the narrator playing a part in bringing out the show's tone and mood. The character's are easily likable and cute, with their set of unique personalities that defines them respectively and sets them apart. The soundtrack is nice as well.
In conclusion Kaguya-sama: Love is War is a defining example of what love comedy shows should strive to be and what it can be. With it's allure of likable, funny, unique characters, and a little twist in the genre, it has proved itself to be a must-watch for everyone to at least try, and decide for yourself it's sense of worth. (How cute).

Domestic na Kanojo had quite an impression on me when I have first watched it, be it the situations showed in recent episodes is quite interesting, to say the least.
(Spoiler Free Review)
Story: 8/10
The story of this anime provides an interesting concept that has gripped me during the start when I first watched it. Essentially it could have definitely been done better, but overall it was still compelling. The story is simplistic in manner and easy to understand, with the concept of love and all, but delivers a complex situation that is hard to fix. The pacing of the show is continuous, The "scenes" ... I believe deliver their purpose, and satisfaction, if you know what I mean. The individual elements of the show such as the romance between the characters are very interesting for me. The fan service is definitely way up there, so up that it's better to consider it a soft-core hentai, the drama is favorable as well. The ending delivers an acceptable conclusion for me.
Art: 8/10
Art-wise the anime has a clean style in doing things, clean on the eyes and straight to the point. The mood developed in this show with this style achieve it's purpose, and it's fitting for the story. Backgrounds are clean as well. In of character designs it's very appealing, and matches well with their personalities The character's are easy to tell apart, but they weren't as much unique but rather clean.
Sound: 9/10
The voice actors for the characters played out well and probably chosen to play that specific voice. The background music played it's purpose and is fitting, though it wouldn't really catch my attention when replayed. I probably won't be listening to the background music anytime soon but the opening and ending songs for the anime is different. The opening song I'd say is one of the best I have heard so far, I can really feel the emotions of the singer and it makes it as much more intimate as it already is. The ending song is quite emotional as well, but more so for the opening to be especially notable.
Character: 8/10
The character's isn't so much as well rounded and isn't so much as stupid but their actions are quite questionable, the characters for the most part react realistically, in some parts not so much. I related in some things with the main character, but other than that I don't , but It was very interesting to me and compelled to see what they are going through. There isn't much character development in the anime, but I don't see it as much as a problem, but it definitely could have been better if there was. The anime focused quite mainly on the main character and the two female leads, with some ing cast given some background. The ing cast played their purpose for the most part, I didn't really like Hina and her judgement so I go for Rui. The author probably has the intention for making Hina that way being restricted by society and it's problems. In the future I probably would them because they gave out quite an impression.
Enjoyment: 8/10
The majority of people probably dislike this series because of it's lacks of depth and personal development and mediocrity, non-anime fans and new people in the anime community or people who doesn't mind such things will probably enjoy this series or be fine with it, I'd probably re-watch some specific episodes for those "scenes" but I am interested in reading the manga for those "scenes" and probably more in-depth than it's anime counterpart. I'd like to own this series if I could. The series isn't really that memorable, there wasn't really anything unique that i'd probably forget it within a few weeks, but as much of how everything seemed to be not anything special. The anime was still able to play it out in a way that I was still looking forward for the next episode, just to see how it would play out.
Though I really think everything would have been much better if it were to be just a hentai show.

Steins;Gate is an absolute masterpiece. Released in 2011 but still better than most sci-fi shows for 9 straight years. It is not a stretch to say this anime is the best of the best of all time. And I put it on the top of my list, the number one spot.
( Spoiler Free Review )
Story: 10/10
Steins;Gate has progressive pacing and episodic in nature, I was confused the first time when I have watched Steins;Gate, as much as it was confusing I enjoyed how the show progresses throughout per episode. The story was very unique for me when I first watched it, and that ... especially made me like it. It was not predictable at all since the show can go in a lot of ways. The pacing was very good, There is no room for fillers and each episode holds a purpose. The individual elements of the story are absolutely perfect. Comedy, romance, mystery, a little fan service, suspense, and thriller. All aspects are superb, the deus ex machina in the anime is shown, and is very well used. And literary techniques and or tropes are present. The ending is very satisfying, heartwarming, kind, beautiful and anticipating. As much as I don't want it to end. There is no forced abrupt ending. It was well paced and well done.
Art: 10/10
The art style fits perfectly well with the story, it has a distinctly unique style to it that fits well with the atmosphere of the anime. It's the perfect art style for a perfect anime. The director did a perfect job in setting up the mood with the art style. Throughout the anime, the animation was well done and consistent. The backgrounds were unique as well, the character designs perfectly fit with the character's personalities, and I love it with all of my heart. Each character design is unique to their own styles, I don't find any problem with wearing the same clothing as I find it quite irrelevant to an anime like Steins;Gate.
Sound: 10/10
I absolutely love the OST' of Steins;Gate. The voice actors are one of the main reasons for the greatness of this show. And they delivered in a perfect manner. I'm sure that Okabe Rintarou's voice actor had to make a few adjustments with his voice and for Makise Kurisu's as well. Both voice actors played a big part in the anime and I can only thank them for a great job well done, I am very grateful. The background music was a blast as well, It's very emotional I must say, It also helped a big part in setting up the atmosphere and mood throughout the story. I love it. The music in Steins;Gate was always a big part in setting up the entire show's tone. I'd listen to the OST of Steins;Gate from time to time since it's that good, very memorable. The opening and ending songs are both perfect and notable.
Character: 10/10
The best part of Steins;Gate is the characters. Each is unique in their own way and well rounded. They have flaws and they need each other. And that's what makes them perfect. The characters reacted rationally and emotionally depending upon the situation that they are currently facing. I was able to relate to the characters and their hardships. Each character in some way or another had their own development throughout the show. But more so to our main characters. There are foils for our main character and one that is always right next to him. Mostly Okabe Rintarou is the most fleshed out of the bunch since the main story is focused on him but not entirely, the antagonist of the show is well developed and has backgrounds and depths like the other characters. And to each has their own motivations for doing things. The ing cast as well is filled with highly well written, likable characters and development. The narration in the show is present in some parts with the main characters like Okabe Rintarou, it simply made the series more aesthetic. A specific character I really disliked was Kiryu Moeka and it was probably the author's intention for me to hate her, and it worked. The characters in Steins;Gate are the most memorable character's I have had the pleasure to be able to watch, and I'll surely them forever, etched into my mind.
Enjoyment: 10/10
I think that the majority of people will be able to enjoy this series. If they gave the time and patience towards this series they will be rewarded with good fortune in return. This may be hard for non-anime fans to get into unless they are a huge sci-fi fan or have the patience to wait it out or enjoy the pace of the show. I have already re-watched this anime 3 times. And I'm planning to watch it again in the near future. It's an unforgettable story and the pinnacle of greatness in anime. Even if I know what's going on and what's going to happen, I still get goosebumps every time I hear that opening. And whenever I re-watch it I was able to pick up some things I haven't seen during the first time I have watched it. This show is precious enough that I'd pay money to buy the source material and the show for a new season. Steins;Gate is a memoir and will always hold a special place in my heart. It's my very first sci-fi anime after all.

Yakusoku no Neverland is a great anime. Despite of it's short comings and endless possibilities of being better it's still a great piece of work I say is better than most of its counterparts.
Story: 10/10
From start to finish the story has been continuous and straightforward. The story was slightly complex and simplistic at the same time. I found it to be fine, as the story blends well with the characters and the setting. I found the focus of the plot to be quite interesting, unique, and well built. I found it as well hard to predict as it is surrounded with a ... lot of questions and mystery. The individual elements of the story is done very well , I found it to be better watched in one sitting as it is an anime that connects continuously episode by episode. The ending of the anime I argue is really well done and the best of it's kind. Dramatic , tense and thrilling. Really kept me at the edge of my seat. If I was alone I probably would have shed a few tears. I felt a lot of emotions when I was watching the last episode. And that means a lot when I watch an anime that makes me feel something.
Art: 8/10
The art fits well with the narrative , atmosphere and setting of the show. The art is well defined and animation wise it's smooth and consistent. The character designs I found to be well done and I liked it very much with it's cutesy mature type of art style I found very similar to a show like Made in Abyss which I very much like as well. The character designs fit's perfectly with their personalities.
Sound: 8/10
The voice actors played their role really well and fits the characters. The background fits with the tone and atmosphere of the anime. I especially liked the opening song of the anime during the start of the song where it's shown in a first perspective view of venturing into darkness which really sets out the mood. The ending song is equally good as well. Both opening and ending songs were well done and quite notable.
Characters: 9/10
The characters in this anime are a strong part of how much I enjoyed this show. Most of them are really smart and smarter for their own age but it doesn't really bother me, more so I think it's a really good choice, it makes me root for them even more. The characters are versed from rational to emotional and they play it out really well. The background of the caretaker's is well done and it made me understand where they are coming from.
Enjoyment: 10/10
Some critics seemed to have not much enjoyed this show because of it's lack of depth and characterization , forced pacing , an okay art and etc. of all reasons the anime is not brought to it's full potential. And I understand that. But despite of all that, I enjoyed it very much. I was gripped , surprised, excited , thrilled and hopeful. This anime is perfect for non-manga readers. Though I probably won't be re-watching this any time soon. I'd say it only works once when you don't know what's happening. But that doesn't mean you won't enjoy it when you re-watch it. As much as I have said is contradictory and bias it is true. Most manga readers are probably disappointed since they expected something much more than this. But for normal anime fans and non-anime fans would probably be fine with it. It's fine to expect something great but it's also fine to appreciate it for what it is.
With it's endless possibilities to become better, even if it doesn't, I anticipate for the sequel.

After re-watching Steins;Gate 0 I was able to fully grasp the show, and quite so I enjoyed every moment of it. As much as the show portrays a lot of sadness and regrets, We all got what we wanted in the last few episodes , It was no doubt a very exciting , spine-tingling and tense ride especially in the last few scenes got me shouting in my room like a man.
After seeing the last episode of the show it makes me want to re-watch the original series for the third time. That's how good it is. Everything is connected, I want to share ... something I think very valuable I learned from the show, and that is the concept of "Never Giving Up". We see it in all kinds of shows and materials but seeing it in a show in which I love makes it even more effective.
But what struck a chord in me is when it was portrayed in a show like Steins;Gate not only does it have exceptionally great characters, exceptionally great story telling and mystery, a somewhat acceptable, reasonable view of how time travel can possibly be true and romance in which the blend of it with sci-fi is perfect , It as well can motivate someone to do something big with their lives. It's around those final few episodes where we can feel and see the full effect of the entire show's build up and release.
The romance in the show I believe is one of the biggest things about it that makes it great. The relationship between Okabe Rintarou and Makise Kurisu as well as Itaru Hashida "Daru" and Yuki Amane more portrayed here in zero than it's original counterpart whilst Okabe's and Makise's more defined relationship in the original series. The theory of relativity is so romantic isn't it?
With our main protagonist Okabe Rintarou giving out lessons the viewer can take out and use personally in real life. Not only is it limited to our main protagonist but also has solid , well built , very enjoyable and unique characters to which all in their own rights has their purpose, they play a big role to the enjoyment of the show without them it would be melancholic and lackluster.
I would also like to point out the opening and ending songs of the show. Some people skip the opening and ending songs of an anime for reasons such as "spoilers" or "waste of time" but for Steins;Gate in this case I believe that this was a great addition both are incredibly well done. It connects with the viewer when understood reading the lyrics and helps in building up it's atmosphere and mood.
With the right mix of romance , drama , mystery , sci-fi , comedy , intensity, thriller and straight out madness Steins;Gate is definitely a must watch for all anime fans who loves such genre's science fiction , romance and such.
Overall Steins;Gate 0 is a masterpiece. It's very fulfilling from the first episode to the last episode, I hope to see a continuation though it seems that's not going to happen.
Come and begin to love and appreciate the show that is Steins;Gate. And for-see how he overcame with his not so normal problems through trial and error, and his adventure to world domination and destruction. Through time and space through thick and thin he proves himself to be, In the end victorious. See for yourself the greatness that is of the mad scientist Hououin Kyouma.
You'll be in for quite a ride.
I end it off with a quite so used catch phrase.
~ El Psy Congroo.

Alright I'll get straight to the point. I love this anime. But I would just like to express my opinion to why I love it and why you should too! alright? alright. A battle of ideals. The most powerful wins. The weak dies and they suffer. Basically this anime is about ideals. Ideals of a person
and what he or she thinks what is right. A battle of what is right basically. And we have here our two main characters protagonist being Lelouch himself code name Zero and also the antagonist Suzaku Kuraragi . The story revolves around them and their Ideals basically. Now lets talk ... more about ideals. This anime has shown me that ideals can be a very scary thing and also a weakness. This has shown in the anime that a person's ideals can deny the action of a certain person even if it is what is right. It suppresses them, their own ideals. And just like that our main character is suppressed by his own ideals and so eventually leads to his misery. It's a battle of power and one mistake can ruin everything. And so Code Geass leads to a interesting topic of ideals and if ur an idealistic person then you should definitely watch this show heck doesn't matter just watch this show maybe it'll give you a different perspective of life. Or you know a different set of ideals, Just like what it did to me. This story is a 10/10 for me.
continuation : After rewatching the anime I have realized something. It's surely a battle of ideals. But the only thing that will truly triumph is power. Power is Everything. It doesn't matter what is your ideal. As long as you win, In the end you will triumph. And so that is what I learned in this anime
