The movie was a let down. I get it fit in all the info and scenes in about 2 hours is insane to ask but why skip so much. The art was beautiful but because they made it a movie so many things were lost and taken out. Let's say you're a new viewer interested in watching it since it's a cult classic thinking it will suffice since people might like old animation (its not everyone's cup of tea i like it but i digress) This movie, it's with beautiful animation but then you don't actually get the full story and ... plot holes everywhere. People will think that The Rose of Versailles is bad and people over hype it....

I feel like this anime is not the best

isekai rom/com anime out there but

honestly with the mega trash we are

getting recently this is actually really

good. I like how we smoothly have gone

... through different points in their lives

including when they were kids and now as

teens. It really shows the effects that

Liz had on everyone once they entered

the school and stopped being with

Alicia. I like how it also makes you

want to read the manga to get more

details and continue. The characters are

really well written and we get extra

information without it being too much.

Also it kind is foreshadowing what might

happen in the future when talking about

the other nations.



I feel like the people that rate

this low it's only because they're picky

and want to be interesting. I honestly

just ask you to stop watching and let

others enjoy then, don't negatively

review because that scares people that

might genuinely like this series.
