i think ur understanding of fire force is pretty good the premise of the show is a lot like the more popular anime’s at the time but the thing that made it difficult was the fact that religion was involved it really makes people wonder about the world in a different manner so watching it in an anime that shifts things in a dystopian manner really makes people feel the need to not watch the show. if u can understand that it isn’t a reality and a twist to make the show a interesting piece of work then people would be willing to accept it’s actually one of the best shows that was released at the time
