Whereas Shirobako is quite serious and deals with mental health by having people break down, Kuromi is a straight-up comedy that achieves the same end while emphasizing the difficult work can bring people together, too. 62l4d

PUSSYCAT reminds me a lot of Beastars, in a really good way. The power dynamics at play and the way it makes tangible the way she needs to play her oppressors off each other to survive was fantastic. More than that, the animation was a cut above with a lot of fine detail before during and after the explosion of violence at the short's core. Totally recommended if you're into any combination of animals, gore, and critical sexual violence. ...That's not a sentence you write every day.

...then you might like Meitantei Conan Movie 20: Junkoku no Nightmare add

Both of these Detective Conan movies revolve around original of the Black Organization. The Darkest Nightmare rehashes several ideas from this earlier movie and the somewhat experimental structure of Episode 304 (the awesome bomb one). Both TRC and 304 are more focused on what they wanted to accomplish and are better for it. Basically, if you liked TDN, check these out for more. If you didn't like TDN, check these out for better.
