Oh, this my first recommendation. [: The main characters Sawako (from Kimi ni Todoke) & Sunako (from The Wallflower) are two pretty distant girls, who have their perspective or you could say personality change by a group of friends. Both girls are viewed as frightening, and have a rather sad past, although tier past isn't really all that similar. They also look similar in a sense too, they both have long black hair. Both also are a shoujo too. Um, I really think if you enjoy reading Kimi ni Todoke try reading The Wallflower, or if your reading The Wallflower try reading Kimi ni Todoke. Sorry about read more
The plot is different, but the main character of each story are similar, and are both referred to sadako from The Ring (IDK wat The Ring is, but Sadako is the scary character in the movie).
You will probably find both female protagonists (Suwako, Sunako) will have many similarities. Not only do they look alike, but they both have self confidence issues, and throughout both mangas, you can slowly see them gain their confidence. Reading the Wallflower is like seeing what suwako would be like if she were actually as scary as everyone else thinks she is. Both are great reads!
